REBUILDING THE ROCK CHURCH
The Rock Church's home of 23 years was destroyed by fire on September 24, 2000.

While the church building was being rebuilt, we met at the Broadway Theater in Pitman
The demolition work.
In mid-December, 2000, it was determined that the structural integrity of two of the walls was questionable, so they were rebuilt. The new back wall can be seen in this photo.
Installation of the new trusses was done on February 6, 2001.

The steeple was re-installed on March 1, 2001.

The drywall is hung and painting began the week of April 16, 2001.

At our Dedication Service on October 7, 2001, Pastor Don lights candles at the alter for the first time since the fire.
