"What can I say that I haven't said before about Restoration and what it has done for me? You can just look at me and see the change in me. I have had many people come up to me and tell me of a "glow" that they see around me and sometimes I feel it too. If I say that Restoration has helped push me on the right path, and saved my life and my family as well as my marriage, I would not be lying. Those of you who have been in the class with me know how things were going in my life at the beginning of Restoration - a lot of problems, depression and hopelessness and spiritual warfare in my family. "We had to write a letter the first week of Restoration, what we hoped to get out of Restoration. I can honestly say that, to the best of my recollection, every petition I requested has been answered. I am not the same person inside anymore. God fixed a lot of the cracks in my foundation. In some cases, my 'house' was jacked up and new support beams were placed. I also learned that God was right there, all the time during my worst pain and nightmares."

But that is not at all what Restoration is. It is the complete opposite. To sum it up, Restoration is learning and building a personal relationship with God and learning to live and trust daily in that relationship and the security of having God as a Friend and Father."

"In one of the teachings we had, I have what I call the 4 Big Words engraved in my mind; to KNOW, TRUST, LOVE and SERVE God. Once we had this teaching, that voice spoke to me again, saying to start that intimate relationship you have to KNOW Me first and the other three will follow if you allow them to. One other word I wanted to add to the key word list is OBEDIENCE. This is my toughest part, it is so important to be obedient and react to what God is telling us to do. It takes a step of faith at times, because we can't see where God is leading us. I'm coming to learn that it seems God works in steps, and if you're not obedient to His first command, He will not lead you to His next step. He wants you to totally trust in Him and not in [your] emotions or circumstances. I know this is a never ending growing process, but I believed the Restoration Course stopped me from flying by the seat of my pants, and is pulling me back to the basics of fixing my foundation, and the stronger my foundation becomes, the closer and stronger my relationship with God will develop. I thank the Lord for giving me the time to take this course."

"Restoration is a process that takes time. Nothing of value is repaired overnight if it has been broken, neglected, shattered, torn or damaged. Restoration has shown me that through God, and the damage I have experienced in my life can and is being repaired all the time. Rather than naming the damage as the problem, I confess that Jesus has removed the rust and corrosion from my heart and renews it daily."
