When we started this program in March, 2003, it was for the purpose of providing care for special needs children while their parents attended our worship service. In the beginning, the Lord instructed that each child be anointed with oil and prayed for, which an elder does each week, and that in the room there should be worship music and soft things - inviting the Lord's presence into the room for the healing of the children.

Lynnette Allinson heads up the special needs healing room ministry. There are eight people on the staff, working in teams of twos as caregivers, alternating every four Sundays.
